Literally attached to a gas station convenience store, Taco Bar offers great flavors in a small package. Doubling as a supplier of cold beer and wine, the food is freshly prepared and full of flavor. Perhaps more rice in the burrito than I would have liked but still delicious. Do not be daunted by the truck stop atmosphere, the food is worth it.

Came here for lunch one day. Was busy but the line moved quick. Portions were really big and food was great!

This place is located literally in a Shell gas station property. In addition to fast food they offer wine and beer to go. I went with three, steak and three shredded beef tacos ($3.07/each) and adds of sour cream ($.25/each) and cheese ($.25/each). Thus, the taco was $3.57 plus tax. A 24-ounce Modelo can was $3.29. I also added guacamole and chips ($5) which were average at best. Their food was all made to order and tasted fresh, and not over seasoned. The “kitchen” is right behind the order counter so you can see the staff in action. The tacos are served on two or three six-inch flour tortillas which add a lot of weight to the order. I choose to scrape off the beef and eat it mixed with an assortment of topping you can self-serve. They offer a small fixings bar which and small cups if you want it to go. There was diced onion, red sauce, green sauce, cilantro, pico de gallo, etc. Note trying to get the lids on is an art and if not done right makes for a messy experience.

The tacos sans the flour tortilla was very good except for the ½ piece of bone I bit into! Luckily, I did not break a tooth.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This place has awesome food. The staff is efficient and the food is uniformly outstanding. They use fresh ingredients and the portions are generous. Highly recommend using them for catering.
