You wouldn’t walk into this place if you didn’t know that delicious authentic Chinese food lay within. But New Fortune is one of the the places to go for authentic Dim Sum in the area.
It reminds me of the large family restaurants in China and the customers are in the know for great food. The best time to go is Sunday morning or perhaps after church. You might have to wait a little, by they turn the tables pretty quick.
Rolling carts of steaming food roll by and you just point to what looks good. There are English signs on some carts and the servers have some ability to explain the dishes. But the best is to have an adventurous attitude and see what you like.
They have plenty of duck and chicken, dumplings, veggies and other dishes. It’s easy to put a meal together. They mark your dishes as you order on a tally sheet and add it up at the end.
Service is quick and a little brusk.
Delicious, authentic but don’t go for the elegant decor (cause it isn’t).
