“Great weekend!”
Reviewed 11 August 2011

The innkeeper, Kathy, was very hospitable, warm and welcoming without being intrusive. She was also an excellent cook! The breakfasts we had were the best meals we had that weekend and Kathy's chocolate chip cookies were delicious. The atmosphere was extremely conducive to meeting the other guests. What a wonderful, congenial, and interesting group of people we met! Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean, quiet and cool. The interior (e.g. walls/ceilings) could use a little TLC which is why we did not give it a rating of "excellent."

We had a great weekend away to bike, eat, shop and reconnect. The Parsonage provided a wonderful experience. Kathy makes a great breakfast and is ready with restaurant recommendations. The accommodations were comfortable and enjoyable. The PB & J Muffins were excellent!!! We will come again.

We stayed here for a girls weekend trip to St. Michaels. Our room was clean, the AC was cool and the beds were comfortable. Kathy makes a delicious breakfast and is a very welcoming & accomodating hostess. The location is great for walking around town or down to the marina.

I stayed here with my sister and long time family friend for a girls weekend. This place was wonderful. Checked in around 2pm and the room was almost ready. Kathy checked us in and gave us some recommendations on places for dinner in St. Michaels.
We were booked in room 8 which is on the 2nd floor with a private entrance from a little deck. Room was terrific. 2 queen beds then a seperate sitting room with chairs and TV. Sepearte bath and then if you need it, thru the bathroom is another room with 2 twin beds. All was very large and comfortable.
During the afternoon we drove over to their sister property and used their large beautiful outdoor pool. Towels and drinks were available free of charge.
Cold bottled water was always available for free in the kitchen whenever you wanted it.
Afternoon cookies were great and breakfast the next morning was delicious. I must thank Kathy for being very gracious to us the entire time.
Overall it was a terrific weekend and a great B & B.

Kathy was more than accommodating to us on our recent trip to St. Micheals. I accidentally booked the wrong weekend and she bent over backwards to help us. THe Parsonage Inn is in a great location, very comfortable, with a yummy breakfast. This was our second trip and we would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: Did not see all of the rooms, but ours was clean and comfortable.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Parsonage Inn (1883) provides a striking example of the late Victorian era with its unique brick inlays and center tower with steeple. What makes us unique? The little things! Log burning and gas fireplaces, coffee, tea and bottled water available 24 hours a day, an ice maker for your drinks, active wine chilling sleeves, wine glasses and a corkscrew in your room, great bikes, freshly baked cookies, homemade organic yogurt and granola (we use as many organic products as possible - including free range eggs!), a choice of two entree items for breakfast, one sweet - one savory, (we even bake our own bread for French Toast) and we cater to all types of dietary needs. Then there are the big things that aren't readily visible. For instance, our pet friendly room (there is just one - so be sure to call) isn't just pet friendly - it is friendly to non pet owners too, we have two complete sets of quilts and shams, the non-pet covers (including blankets) are NEVER used when there is a pet in the room and visa versa, the room really is deep cleaned after each pet visit. These are just a few of the many, many things that our guests love and why they come back - frequently! ... more   less
