Some very nice sculptures, carvings, and bird-related art. There were a ton of ducks, but we prefer the other types of birds as they were prettier. I liked the bird house exhibit. It would be cool if there were more interactive exhibits like push a button and hear the bird sound.
They also have a short walking trail around the lake.
Admission $7/pp. Discounts for seniors, AAA, children, or military (free). There is also a half price coupon online.

We went to the museum for several hours with our daughter and 3 year old granddaughter (who loved the exhibits...). Beautiful work, interesting information, amazing craftsmanship. Picnic tables outside for lunch in a beautiful setting.

"Wow" describes the amazing works of art that you will encounter at the Ward Museum. We had previously seen the Ward Brothers Workshop in Crisfield and were curious to see their decoys at this museum. There is a very nice collection and exhibit about the Ward Brothers. A lot more of the museum was dedicated first to the evolution of decoy carving and how it became a decorative art form. The best part was the collection of the award winners from their annual carving competition. There were some amazing detailed carving as well as some beautiful concept works.
We were greeted by a docent who was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic to tell us about the pieces in the museum. He spent over an hour and a half with us. There is a nice gift shop, outdoor wildlife viewing area and very nice educational facilities. The building is a work of art in and of it self. The small price of admission makes this museum a very good value.
This is a must-see attraction at Salisbury, MD.

Lovely small museum of water fowl carvings... both decoy and decorative. There are some fantastic pieces here and admission is extremely reasonable.
