It's the little things in life that make the difference - like the sugar cane straw in my mojito. We love empanadas and they have both beef and chicken on the appetizer menu, I just wish they were baked instead of fried. Someone had the slow roasted chicken which looked lovely. My partner likes ground beef and our waiter found something that fit the bill and was enjoyed. The black beans and rice were good, if a bit basic. They had snapper prepared two ways both of which were tasty and a bit out of the ordinary - unless you regularly eat Cuban or Venezuelan. Save room for dessert or take it home.
