We were on the Cape from 08/02/14 - 08/09/14 and we love it there.
Booking is a bit out-dated, no credit card payments accepted, payment has to b in US funds and everything is done by mail. No big deal, but an electronic payment option wouldn't hurt.
The cottage is bit tricky to find, but we got it. When we arrived it had been raining and it was a bit damp so we turned on the heat to dry it out which worked well.
It is very much a basic cottage, but that is what we expected. Kitchen and Bathroom are fine. Bed is on a wheeled frame which was annoying, but we slept fine. The place was clean, but could use a thorough dusting.
What makes the place is the windows at the front and the sliding door, the view on to the pond is great and at night the cool air off the pond breezes nicely into the place.
Also it's location is great if you want to be on the outer cape, you can walk to Arnold's which has excellent Seafood and access to the National Seashore is easy. Also getting onto the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path is easy too.More
