We have been to many bed and breakfast's around the country and this is at the Top of our List!! Starting with the location.....Great water views of the Ocean!!!!The attention to detail is evident. Each room has it's own personality! We got to spend our visit in two different rooms because they were full and had to switch (and they made it painless). Each room was up to it's potential on detail and cleanliness! Never needed to ask for one thing! Breakfast is such a treat! Each morning was exceptional with fresh fruit and juice, muffins, cereals and their hot egg item that was featured. Howard, the Innkeeper was always present with a friendly hello! It truly felt like we were visiting his home. The staff was so professional and efficient. So....with this said...what are you waiting for....you need to go and experience a wonderful Inn on Cape Cod. See you next year for sure!! Thank you again for your hospitality and making our trip the best it could be!!

Reserved late in the year (June for August) but was able to manage 5 night stay (and would've stayed longer if available). Only room left was the smallest on the first floor so I was expecting a little noise but was pleasantly surprised that I heard nothing at all and overslept most days because the bed was so very comfortable! Extremely clean, well maintained, oceanfront, lovely front porch with tables and chairs, and a breakfast each day to remember! I've never had such delicious fresh squeezed orange juice! Other guests were there for Falmouth Road Race and seem to return each year to the Inn on the Sound. Very nice group of interesting people. My only concern is telling others about it, I worry I'll have difficulty securing a room in the future!

Room Tip: Choose your room on website, photos are very accurate.

At the last minute we decided to stay overnight in Falmouth after a wedding, lucky enough to get a room for a night at Inn on the Sound in late August. Usually a two night minimum, Howard, the gracious proprietor, allowed a one night stay due to availability and last minute nature of the reservation. On top of that, when the room we reserved on-line ended up being booked he gave us a larger room at the reduced price...really nice!
The Inn itself is awesome...right on the water, great breakfast, nicely adorned - very clean rooms and delicious biscotti to top it off. Thank you, Howard, we will be back!

We stayed at the Inn on the Sound for a few nights in August. Falmouth is a fabulous place to stay on the cape - near Woods Hole and on Buzzards bay but an easy drive for a day trip to the National Seashore. The Inn itself was just across the road from the water so there was some traffic during the day but it was lovely and quiet in the early mornings and at night. The breakfasts and hospitality were absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful stay.

What a charming place to stay. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the hospitality was top-notch, and the food was some of the best we ate during our stay. You can't find a better view of the ocean or a more convenient short walk to the beach than here. Would not hesitate to book this place again for our next stay.
