If you like diners and cafes, this is a great place to eat, especially for breakfast. It's been there for decades and is known throughout the region. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

What a fantastic little piece of classic Americana!

Joe's seems like a place all the locals go and everyone knows everyone. The staff was very friendly and seemed to know most of the customers.

The diner is clean and a little dated, but in a very charming way! I think it would lose its character if it was modernized at all.

The food was excellent. The bacon was just right and my eggs were perfect. My son and wife had the French Toast and I ended up wishing I got that too.

Our coffee was kept warm and the service was pretty good.

Our only "complaint" is there is no "Seat Yourself" sign, so we felt a little silly standing there trying to decide if we should just sit somewhere or wait to be directed.

Our visit to Joe's was a great example of how good the TripAdvisor app is. Not being from the area we had no idea where to go for breakfast. It was easy to find that Joe's was on our way and people had great things to say about it.

This is "Americana" at it's roots, snobs say home. Love these " Mom and Pop" places . Basic soups and sandwiches, service sort of "Durginish". Small place open for breakfast and lunch.

It was pretty busy but ordered some burgers to go... very juicy, homemade, and delicious! The fries were very crispy and hot! Chocolate shake was liked they used to make them. Yummy! Good diner food!

The thing is, the 2 waitstaff were really not friendly. The irony is - they have a slogan on their walls that reads: Be Nice. The irony wasn't lost on me. It's a small place with some counter seats and some tables. We sat at the counter and couldn't get a smile from either of the waitstaff, even ordering things like - may I please have this and please have that, and thank you so much, etc. I had tuna on an English muffin and my wife had peanut butter on the same. I wanted to buy the t-shirt but couldn't bring myself to remembering how people could just simply smile when you're coming into their establishment.
