Sports bar atmosphere, but quiet. No loud TV's or music or patrons. Prices are reasonable. I order the baked sea scallops, baked potato, green beans, salad all came with the meal for $16.99. About 14 scallops. Cooked perfectly. The same dish where I live would cost at least $10.00 more and you would get some fries and that's it. I also had clam chowder and a soda. No room for dessert. Total bill with 20% tip was under $23.00. Don't let the outside fool you. Well worth the stop. Menu had something for everyone and made to order, fresh food.

We eat here at least once a month, a quick burger and a beer to a multi course dinner, never a disappointment.

The place seems nice, the prices are reasonable, the food was OK...but the service was positively glacial.

Staying locally, looked on line for restaurants with decent reviews. Opted for Herrick's Tavern, less than 1/2 mile from our lodging. Parking lot was packed, a good sign. Greeted immediately, and were told to sit wherever we wanted. Waitress came over right away, very pleasant. Husband ordered clam chowder and I took a taste.....creamy and tasty. Salad came next, crisp greens with a balsamic dressing and crumbly blue cheese. I ordered the baked haddock with baked potato and green beans. The haddock was a little dry but tasted pretty good. My husband ordered the combo seafood special with baked potato and green beans. He loved his combo-haddock, scallops and shrimp. Baked potatoes were moist, green beans cooked just right.
The building has a large bar area with ample seating. All the wait staff work as a team, very professional, friendly and efficient. A great experience overall.

Great luncheon place. Simple decor and super friendly staff with great food prepared with care. Paninis, salads, or sandwiches with either fries or home made chips tops the menu. Icecream parlor attached with the largest cones I've ever seen. Dozens of flavors the waitress hand delivered to us.
