It's about time! Celebrated our anniversary here and every single detail surpassed the previous one. We tried the 4 course tasting menu and were blown away by each course. The classically trained chef has an amazingly creative palate allowing him to partner together elements you wouldn't have imagined only to end up with a spectrum of colors and tastes to delight the most discerning of diners. We enjoyed the(1) tuna tartare (DIVINE) - my favorite,(2) skate (PERFECTLY COOKED), (3) short ribs risotto (Filling & complex) and (4)chocolate mousse cake. As if building a skyscaper, each course was composed of harmonious yet revolutionarily paired elements. Our waiter was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, personable and not intrusive. Can't wait to go back. NOTE: Only open Wed. to Sat. from October to January and RESERVATIONS for 58 seat restaurant year round are a MUST. Dining room can be super noisy so be prepared. Restaurant Name (Vers) is pronounced like 'VERSE', meaning "Fresh" in chef's native tongue. Everybody (but the breads) is made from scratch and in house, and locally sourced. Each dish was something you could NEVER duplicate at home due to the wide variety of ingredients and techniques. What's not to be head over heels about here??? RUN don't walk to eat here soon.
