It's about time! Celebrated our anniversary here and every single detail surpassed the previous one. We tried the 4 course tasting menu and were blown away by each course. The classically trained chef has an amazingly creative palate allowing him to partner together elements you wouldn't have imagined only to end up with a spectrum of colors and tastes to delight the most discerning of diners. We enjoyed the(1) tuna tartare (DIVINE) - my favorite,(2) skate (PERFECTLY COOKED), (3) short ribs risotto (Filling & complex) and (4)chocolate mousse cake. As if building a skyscaper, each course was composed of harmonious yet revolutionarily paired elements. Our waiter was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, personable and not intrusive. Can't wait to go back. NOTE: Only open Wed. to Sat. from October to January and RESERVATIONS for 58 seat restaurant year round are a MUST. Dining room can be super noisy so be prepared. Restaurant Name (Vers) is pronounced like 'VERSE', meaning "Fresh" in chef's native tongue. Everybody (but the breads) is made from scratch and in house, and locally sourced. Each dish was something you could NEVER duplicate at home due to the wide variety of ingredients and techniques. What's not to be head over heels about here??? RUN don't walk to eat here soon.

Lots of descriptions all involving creativity, innovation and adventurous to this attractively designed restaurant. The food is the star attraction involving so many flavors and textures it’s difficult to capture them all. Not the place for traditional Cape Cod fare; Vers sets a new standard for dining exploration in the area.

Service is very good explaining all the ingredients and flavors, quite a challenge.

We sampled the 3 course restaurant week menu. Soup was outstanding combo of squash including a marshmallow topping. Salad of kale and Brussels sprouts sounded almost too trendy but captured all the flavors and textures.

Short rib risotto and skate were complex but not overwhelming so. Clearly chefs push to the edge of flavor interactions nearly to excess but they pull it off.

Desert was the weakest of the offerings; good but not great. Here the cinnamon overwhelmed the chocolate.

Overall a great addition for the lower Cape.

My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary at Vers September 25th. We were greeted by the most pleasant hostess and the experience continued to be perfect. She sat us at the best table in the house when I told her what we were celebrating. Our waiter was very professional and gave us time and space while we enjoyed our martini. The food was all divine and the presentation was beautiful. Their salad was the most beautiful salad I've ever seen....wonderful color and carrot sorbet scoop on top. I had short rib risotto which was so flavorful. My husband had the monkfish which he was very pleased with. Don't miss this amazing restaurant.

Amazing food with delightful presentation and innovative combinations. Hard to choose from the tantalizing menu but the smoked salmon salad, lobster risotto and divers scallops were all delicious. Save room for dessert, especially if you order the "Truth or Dare " which is a masterpiece. Service is outstanding and friendly.
