Hard to know where to start. We were early affording us the chance to see a bit of the "behind the scene" activities. Staff all engaged, chef / owner Bill Conway exiting the kitchen to check the ambiance (turned up the lights in the lobby before heading back to the kitchen). Owner Shelly Conway speaking with staff, giving the newer waiters some one-on-one re: specifics on the menu. Everyone smiling and welcoming. We were seated and received immediate attention from the waiter, even though two in our party were running late. The room (the salon) was beautiful with a small fire radiating just enough heat without overpowering. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc (there was only one offering) but it was a quality wine. Everyone at our table ordered rack of lamb and ...no joke...they were cooked to perfection! My duck was delicious and the raspberry reduction was a great combo of sweet-tart to match the savory meat. Best Rice Pudding I have ever tasted and the Strawberry Shortcake was tops! What more can I say? Can't wait to go back again!
