“a Great walk”
Review of Pilgrim Path

Reviewed 28 July 2016

This is a beautiful place to get some exercise and experience the area on your own. If the weather cooperates, this is a must-do.

Let's put it this way: if you're in Plymouth, you obviously have to see it because it's why Plymouth is such a tourist attraction. However, the rock itself is very underwhelming.

You could always tell your friends back home it is more spectacular than it really is to make them jealous :)

And not to be lost in this is the fact that walking around the Plymouth waterfront is a very enjoyable activity. It is very relaxing and there are some nice shops as well. The uptown area is also very neat. All of it can be seen with a moderate amount of walking.

We tried Pilgrim Path for breakfast on 1/31/09. We were directed to a small table in the back. I should have known it was a bad idea because the place was dusty. What was overwhelming was after taking our order promptly, our waitress proceeded to deliver orders to every new table that filled up and forgot us. When we reminded her 30 monutes into waiting she apologized, resubmitted our orders, then proceeded to deliver the same dish my husband had ordered to a customer who had just arrived but was a regular. We got up and left after waiting 55 min for scrambled eggs that never were served. Although we told her were leaving because no one but us had waited that long for food. Her response was"Oh sorry there's a small grill".
