We stay for four nights and loved the room. Clean, comfortable, with thoughtful accomadations such as organic shampoo and conditioner. We were able to keep some of our snacks in the fridge and loved lounging around in the bath robes they provide! We were greated with a warm welcome and tour of the guest house- which really makes you feel like a guest in thier house instead of just a person staying at a bed and breakfast. They have a beautiful kitchen where you can chat with the other guests and share Provincetown stories and plans. The many outside deck areas (including the top deck with 360 views and thier first floor level deck with a hot tub!) welcome guests to sit, relax and enjoy thier stay. You cant beat the location either- very close to downtown in Provincetown's West End but on a side street so it is quiet and peaceful. Will definately stay again! Our only regret? We never made time to use the hot tub!

Just got back from a terrific autumn weekend in Ptown - an experience made all the better thanks to my stay at the Beaconlight. We stayed in the Cape Ann suite which had a working fireplace (the owners event placed a log for us upon arrival), a canopied king size bed and a nice-sized bathroom. It was right off Commercial Street and close to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely go back - suite was incredibly comfortable and the owners and staff were delightful.

Avoid this one like the plague. Breakfast is a nightmare. Owner paces around obsessively cleaning up every crumb as it falls while you sit there and try to eat. He wins the prize for nastiest owner in Ptown. The owner's kids live there and make noise all day and night. His kids are as arrogant as he is. Total waste of a vacation and money.

I stayed at Beaconlight Guesthouse for Labor Day weekend. After booking the room, I reviewed the reviews and was concerned about what I would find. In general, the experience was positive. The location was great - off the beaten path but nearby everything. The room were clean and carefully decorated, though a bit small. The staff was friendly enough without being obtrusive. Breakfast was great - a solid selection. My only major complaint is that the mattress was in terrible condition. A comfortable bed seems like the bare minimum to ask of a B&B. It was so old that it was impossible not to roll into the middle. My husband and I slept terribly all three nights because we kept rolling into the middle.
