We had a wonderful stay at the White Porch Inn that exceeded our expectations!

The staff- Roberto, Dweep, and Dale were so friendly and accommodating and remembered everyone's name after the first meeting. We also met the owner, Tom, who takes pride in his property and staff and was such a pleasure to speak with.

They made sure we had everything we needed, made restaurant recommendations and reservations on our behalf, and went above and beyond to provide us with full service during our stay.

They provided a variety of food each morning for breakfast and at the daily happy hour where we conversed with other guests staying at WPI.

The rooms were well adorned and the entire property was kept very clean.
Our group had three rooms reserved in the main house and were all very impressed with the uniqueness of each room.

We would highly recommend the White Porch Inn for a quality and memorable experience in a fantastic location!

Look forward to our next visit!

The White Porch Inn is comfortable, beautifully appointed and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff is unrivaled. Roberto was the perfect host and by the time we left, felt like an old friend. Breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese turned out to be the perfect opportunity to make new friends from around the world and right here at home. It's location will allow you to park the car and leave it. And then there's the white porch. With comfortable chairs and views of the water don't be surprised if you spend a good portion of the day relaxing there. This was our first visit, but certainly not our last.

This was our first time staying at the White Pitch Inn and it was lovely! Everyone was so amazing and so hospitable. Dweep was just a doll and always willing to lend a hand with anything we needed. Roberto was also so sweet and we met some wonderful new friends during our stay!

Realizing this was an inn
that might have been remodeled, our one word of caution was that you needed to put a cap up on the air conditioning vent in each room and in the bathroom if you wanted it to be warmer. The fireplace in our room was not available for use during our stay and having to cover the vent created a little bit of a liability since we had to stand on both toilet and bench to insert the cap.

Initially, we booked the room because of the fireplace, so that was a bit of a let down.

The manager had also seemed a little curt with us, admonishing us for not having made arrangements to move our car one night, but the rest of the staff was so incredible, that we overlooked his behavior and focused on how beautiful it was there.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

My husband and I stayed down stairs in the guest house next door to the inn. The room was small, but clean. There is a second room in the guest house which we used for our clothing. The bathroom in the spare room was not working which was a small inconvenience since my husband gets up at the crack of dawn to go for a walk or run before I get up. He wanted to use the other bathroom in the A.M. as to not wake me up since our room was so small. The location is great! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The down side to this experience was ...Dale! This guy is in the wrong business. He looked miserable all the time, and we felt like we were walking on eggshells when in his presence. He reminded us of the little drummer boy - in need of a painted on smile in order to look happy. If it weren't for the great location...I would never go back due to Dales lack of hospitality.
