We stopped in on a weekend afternoon for drinks and a light lunch. We had the sweet potato fries, which were excellent and made from scratch. The beer selection was good, and the drinks were great. The service was spotty, but that could be because it was between shifts. Overall, good place to stop in
We were in town this past weekend for Christmas on Main Street. This is when the decorate Main Street as the Norman Rockwell painting. It was very busy this past weekend since it was so nice out (relatively speaking of course).
The wait we were told was 20 minutes. It was closer to 30. Ok, not too bad. The restaurant was full when we got there, so we peeked at the menu and made our choices in the 1/2 hour we had to wait.
When we sat, we were able to place our orders quick, and got our drinks, but then proceeded to wait 45 minutes, without even an ask or offer for additional drinks. Granted the waitress was hopping many tables. There were other hosts staffed that day that could have helped out. All this while the restaurant was emptying out.
When we did get our food, it was excellent. No complaints there. We mostly ordered burgers (Blue Cheese with bacon and sweet potato fries for me, The Works for my mom and wife, Soup and sandwich for my dad). All were excellent.
Then the check process also took too long.
In spite of the 1.5+ hour stop for a burger, the food was great. We would go back, just not when it is busy in town.
What can I say!! No heat in dining room, needed our coats on to eat. Things happen but the unbelievable. We both ordered Thai Salmon . Roasted potatoes under cooked and stone cold the same for the rest of meal. Just not their night. The staff handled it well and told us "difficulties in house??" They tried to do right by us.
Our tables were ready and salads served right after we sat down. Service was wonderful and food delicious. Be prepared to a great dinning experience.
