Counter greeting is very good. Well trained. Food is just not very good, especially for the price. Sandwiches didn't have much flavor and the amount of chicken is in the sandwich, makes it a poor value.

I'm not sure what they do differently but their bread isn't as good as other Panera... the water maybe? But its a Panera and it has outdoor seating, and a place to work when you want to leave your home office.

Best place in Wayland for a fresh, fast reliable lunch. Love the Greek salad. Everything served with fresh bread or chips or an apple. Great food for $10.

We've been to Panera a whole lot more often now that they're local. The menu is the same no matter where you go, and in general, the food is pretty much always the same. They have a great variety of salad and soup offerings, and if you're into pastries, they have some really nice looking ones. There is one lady who works the cash that seems to have had a bad day every time we go in, so we try to avoid giving our order to her. You'll recognize her as the one who has a permanent scowl on her face. The rest of the staff is great, so no worries there.

We visited this Panera after eating dinner next door and not finding anything we liked on the dessert menu. We thought we would pop in and get something to fix our sweet tooth on the way home. Granted it was 8:40pm and we knew they closed at 9pm, but the point is your store is still open for business. The looks we got from everyone were looks of death. They had just mopped the floors and they were in the process of packing things up. We we were made to feel unwelcome. We each ordered a cookie, paid and ran. Barely a word spoken by the staff. The manager should address staff closing up shop early and should hire friendly staff. We won't return to this location. PS - the cookies weren't even that great.
