Room was cozy for the most part and this motel is run by very nice folks. What I liked best about the Windrift was being able to swim at night with the lights on. (They keep the pool opened until 10)! However, the room was somewhat warm without the air conditioning cranking, even on cool nights. Maybe, window fans could be added to draw in the night air when it is not absolutely necessary to run the air conditioners. However, this would not deter me from visiting again.

Great location for exploring and so quaint with its lighthouses at the entrance and in the parking areas. Clean spacious rooms and the the staff at this family run hotel could not have been more pleasant or helpful hope to return soon!

We recently spent 4 nights at the Windrift motel and had a comfortable and welcoming stay. We weren't sure what to expect but the entrance gave us a good impression- well tended flower beds and nice person at reception. The room looked basic enough but actually had everything we needed; microwave, fridge, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, toaster abd a one ring electric hob. Bbq facilities and ice making machine were great too. It's not plush but for the price it offered great value on the Cape!

We stopped twice in our recent visit to NYC, the Cape and Boston. This was the cheapest accommodation we used and the decor reflected this. However, it was roomy, clean and comfortable, with lovely grounds. The pool was great though unheated and a little chilly on the first visit, though life had warmed up for the second and it was a welcome relief for those who ventured away from the very efficient aircon mid day (our best aircon during our trip). We didn't get to use the bar b q area though it looked great. Everything is clean, quiet and well maintained outside. The staff were very helpful In making recommendations for local food options and laundry. They have also been great in arranging the return of my trainers which I accidentally left. We did a couple of 2 day stays during our time on the Cape, spending time at Seagull beach, Hyannis and watching the sunset at Mayflower beach (about 20 mins away across to the northern coast). We then left for 2 nights at Provincetown, calling at Chatham and the beach on the way up and the lighthouses on the way down, with a full day in Provincetown in the middle. Being put in the same room again for our further 2 nights felt like coming home. We did the Cape Cod Mall, the crazy (though not sooooo crazy) golf next door and the Bay Spirit sunset harbour cruise on our second visit. Lots to do in the area. We would recommend to others in the area!

The hotel was nice and clean. Didn't get much information of things in the area when we checked in like most reviews say you do. We were given our keys and that was about it. Thankfully we had our plans made as to where we wanted to go.
Pillows could use a definite upgrade, they were flat. The bathrooms could use an exhaust fan. But the grounds were beautifully maintained, we didn't use the pool or the bbq area as we were gone most everyday. The motel was easy access to Hyannis and to major routes. Would recommend staying here.
