Very impressed walking in. Nicely redone and clean, esthetically pleasing. So bright and airy. We were greeted with a smile from Hailey. Very polite. Our room was a suite, very nice. The bed was very comfortable , hard to get out of there. You may need a step stool for some handicapped people. We were too tired to get out of bed to have breakfast. Room was extremely clean. Again. The rating on this hotel is too low. We just booked to stay for another few days. Half an hour from the beaches and plenty of restaurants to eat at

Overall the staff was excellent, but the hotel is in the process of being updated (April and May 2022)
The breakfast was typical HI Express and quite good. Internet was solid and reasonable performance.
The main challenge is that the new beds they installed are EXTREMELY high. Unless you are near 6' tall they can be hard to get into without assistance. The desk clerk said they are talking about buying footstools, but have no timeline for acquiring them. Once we got into the bed, is was quite comfortable.
We had 2 rooms, but the first one had a very noisy fan so that party moved to another room when the TV remote would not work with the Direct TV system. All was well in the third room.
Speaking of the TV system, they do have a very large number of channels and worked quite well. But I was unable to find a Sleep Timer on the remote. 8-(
There is not much else available in this area, so if you plan to stay here, I encourage you to bring a footstool!
