Had a nice walleye dish that was fresh and tasty. A local family restaurant, don't be put off by the label "roadhouse".

Stopped in for dinner and was glad we did. There menu is quite extensive and a prices were good.
Food was good for our party of three - all ordered different foods and all came out well. Service was very good.
this restaurant is a quick walk across the street from the Holiday Inn. Great food, huge portions and pleasant service...what more could you ask for? we hope to come back again one day.
The outside of the building looks a little shady- but the hotel recommended we try it......delicious food! The service was a little slow but we arrived late and stayed after closing. The chef, maybe owner, was very personable and made sure my food allergy was carefully taken care of..............the food was really good. Homemade and very reasonably priced. We had the fish and chips..also the buffalo burger and cole slaw was great!
Very impressed, best smelts ever, lake perch perfectly done, the and game pate was really a tureen style presentation but was also very tasty. If ever in Birch Run or anywhere close I would return, order the smelts again and try whatever fresh fish was on the menu.
