The room was clean and a typical Courtyard room. The staff was great and super helpful. There is some remodeling going on the first floor. Looks like it will be even better then.

There is a walkway to get to the REN Center, so you don’t even have to go outside.

This hotel has everything you need to have a good stay :

- The great Marriott bed
- A great location
- Direct access to people mover ( the sky train going everywhere around downtown) He's easy to use. When coming off your room in the lobby, go straight in front of you, then after opening a door, use the elevator at your left and the people mover is on the 5th floor.
- Amazing hot spa and great pool. The pool area is spacious, you have outside view of the city and the sun in entering the place, which is cool, because you can feel outside. Also, there is noodle and ball to play with in the pool, so it is fun for kid and even for adult (im 23) , as you met people and play some ball with them. A lot of fitness machine too. One area is for cardio and one area is for muscle.
- There is a supermarket really close to the hotel on brush street.

My must choice if going to Detroit. I thought first it was far away from Red Wings game a little Caesar Arena, but it is so easy with the people mover, It is also walkable if you want to, example before the game, even if it seems far away on Google maps.

Room Tip: Pool on 8th floor, but always an easy access from everywhere, as it is right in front of the elevator.

For years my family has wanted to see the Detroit Auto Show. We finally made it this year. We used priceline's name your own price and got into this hotel for $83(plus taxes and fees) a night for two nights. It worked out well for us.

The location was great for walking around downtown and they are connected to a People Mover stop too which was convenient.

The staff at the front desk were super friendly. They smiled and were helpful. Check in was a breeze. We got a room on a pretty high floor and had a nice view of downtown.

They had a breakfast option but we did not check it out. They also had a fitness center we didn't visit. But we did go to the pool. I liked the lounge chairs by the pool and my son enjoyed swimming in the pool, it wasn't crowded.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable, TV worked fine, the bathroom well lit and we had no issues at all with the room. There was a desk with chair and a lounge chair.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The street it is on is a hassle for people picking you up though, as it is divided and you can only enter from traffic flowing in one direction, but it's just something you deal with. We liked our room and the friendly staff.

My sister and I stayed here for one night on our weekend trip to Detroit. It seems recently renovated so it has more of a modern feel which was cool. The only downside was that the parking is quite expensive, coming from someone who hates paying for parking, $20 a day just seemed like a lot after already paying to stay in the hotel. Other than that the staff was great and the location is also good for staying downtown. I would stay here again!

The place was very empty. Room was OK, good standard and staff very helpful and responsive. The place however has no restaraunt and frustratingly no breakfast service.

Would have been OK but I stayed when a major snow storm was going on so difficult to navigate to somewhere for that.

I did benefit from it being empty an had an upgrade that gave me a mini suite that was very nice.

Room Tip: Go high. Go for room overlooking the river
