Recommended by a local, gave it a shot. Got a good, not great sandwich. And for God's sake don't ask for tomatoes. Apparently someone is allergic or they cost too much or something 🙄

Gurney’s is an iconic Harbor Springs place to grab a great sandwich and head out for a picnic to enjoy. They also have a great wine and beer selection. I will warn you, get there early as it is well known that around lunch time in the summer the place gets packed

Gurneys has been around since the '70's. It's unique in that not only is it a liquor store, it has wonderful take-out sandwiches and picnic supplies for boaters, beach-goers, and anyone tired of fixing lunch!

Wherever I may wander or roam, these sandwiches at home are still my favorite Turkey on white with swiss. Yum.

At first glance, you might not expect much more than a place to grab a good bottle of wine. However, my daughter and I rode bikes from Petoskey to Harbor Springs and ordered a great homemade sandwich each for lunch (to go) because of a local recommendation. Thanks Jake! Note: Bring cash!! No cards accepted. We took lunch across the road to watch the boats and eat at a picnic table. I would highly recommend that you try Gurney's too. Had we driven there, I might have bought some wine. :-)
