We found this to be a refreshing change from the "chain" hotel experience that is taking over America. This 1950's roadside hotel has been well renovated by its friendly and personable owner. The rooms are clean, well stocked, and comfortable.
Pluses to this property include beautifully done landscaping with chairs, fire pits, and grills - all of which allowed us to enjoy the outside space without feeling like we were sitting outside a roadside hotel. The owner had a wood fire going the night we stayed there which made our time outside that much nicer!
This motel is owned and managed by someone who really understands the hospitality business. We would absolutely stay here again.
