We should have taken notice when we entered that there were very few patrons in the restaurant for dinner on a Thursday evening. The outside patio is noisy due to the road but it was warmer than sitting inside where the A/C was cranking. My meal was completely overcooked and dried out, and I requested ranch dressing just to choke it down. The fish pieces were very small and only a few pieces served. When we informed the manager we were told he is sorry and that he does not receive complaints.

Bottom line is.......since the change of ownership, the food quality has drastically declined. The food used to be perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Now, everything is very bland, and sauces are runny. Including the tarter sauce. French fries are overdone and taste like they were made the day before. One would think this could possibly be an isolated occurrence, but it's not. We experienced the same thing a few months ago, and said we would never return, but decided it was in all fairness to give them a second chance. This was the end of the line for us. Gave 2 stars because the service was great!

So its probably the setup of the restaurant that causes the confusion. The sign looks upscale and steakhouse like. The brick patio built in front looks like it belongs somewhere else. The building does not match the front, parking and restaurant entrance is cramped and narrow. Parking near the door is very limited. The restaurant interior is dated and very much "Dark diner". Service was okay and seating immediate (But we were there at 1:45pm). Both of us ordered steaks, they tasted good and were decently prepared. A loaded Baked potato is listed as the accompaniment with the steaks. But they could not get us that because it was before 3pm ?!? Instead they offered grilled Zucchini. They have a Lamb appetizer which was excellent!. The fresh baked bread is very good. The bill for two of us was $50. We did not order wine or desserts. Diner meets Steakhouse was my best description. Not sure if I will be back again, $25 a person is kind of steep for a restaurant trying to figure out its identity.

A little more upscale than a chain restaurant like Applebees, but not as pricey as a fancy steakhouse. Good variety of choices on the menu from steak, fish, pasta and even a Polish dish.

Greated and seated quickly. Servers pleasant. Here for dinner around 6 PM. Only three other tables with customers and a couple of ladies at the bar. Soup was good, dinners arrived at the table when we had only just began eating our soup. A little mix up with what we ordered -nothing major and wait person offered to correct the mistake.
Dinners lacked seasoning, No real flavor to the meat, and it was greasy. Most items come with mashed potatoes, a little boring. ColdSlaw was thin and stringy, lacked flavor. Drinks from the bar were good. Probably won't return here for another meal. Had read such good reviews was very disappointed. Pricing above quality of food. Do wish there was a less than average rating but only poor or average choice. I felt it was less than average.
