This is a cute place to go for some good drinks and food. They just expanded their menu and the pretzels are amazing. We always get the Cranberry wine.
Good hometown brewery. They have a variety of beers to choose from. I like their harbanero beer personally.
The beer is great and I'm happy they are serving food, what this place really needs is a wack with the ambiance stick. It might be just the timing of my visits but it just seems a little austere inside. It's on the cusp of being a really cool place, the beer is great, the food is good and when the interior finds its "personality" its going to be great. IMPORTANT NOTE: I say all this knowing that creating ambiance takes two things: money and skill and it could clearly be an issue of management spending their capital on developing great beer and not on hanging hobby lobby artwork on the walls - and really thats the way we should all want it. Go there, enjoy a few really good beers with your friends and don't worry about the decorating, we all dressed a little funny when we were young.
We found this To be a Worthy brewery stop. They have a large selection of beers and many were Solid. They offer crawlers and growlers to go. Food was
Decent, had sandwiches which were substantial. The Kentucky kiss
Was A good bourbon brew as was the Polar. If You're in holland or Grand Rapids it's an easy drive worth the trip.
Always 12- 15 beers on tap and all are good. I have been a beer snob for years and the quality is amazing for such a small place.
Was told by friends we should visit this craft brewery. We are so glad we did. They have a nice selection of craft beers with a wide variety from a simple Pale Ale to a Wheat and Stouts and everything in between. My wife had the Kooky Munster dark and it actually tasted like Oreo cookies. Very awesome taste. I had the Super G which was their IPA. It was also very good and tasty with a great finish. We were unaware that this establishment serves food but as we talked with patron around us found out that the food was very good. They have a upstairs eating area and bar and than an additional bar area on a lower level which also has a few tall table tops. Unfortuantly the lower area was not open for draw beers but the bartender was nice enough to wait on us and go to the upper level to get everyone their drinks. Great history behind this place and you would find it amazing on how they got started and pretty much opened a brewery in a town which was dry. We were told the name came from the owners wife who has red hair and was a runner. Try It You'll Like It.
