A great place to stay. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again. A pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I took the car ferry from Manitowoc and needed a place to stay overnight. Looked up hotels in Ludington and this sounded good. When I checked in, I knew it was good as the owner was friendly and the motel was very neat, tidy, and well kept up. Rooms were CLEAN and QUIET. One of the best stays ever. No hassles or grief.

Spent the night here so we could catch the Badger early in the morning. The check-in process went very smoothly and we entered a very clean room. Even took a swim in the outdoor pool, which was very refreshing. We were very happy with this room and would come here again if we are in the area.

Awesome location, close walking distance to downtown and the opposite direction to everything. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Heated pool along with Jacuzzi was super clean and available all day into late night hours. Parking spots are assigned to each room (all located on ground level). Continental breakfast was ready for early risers until 9:00 am in the lobby/office area. The only thing that we find that was missing was a microwave, even only if in lobby.

Room Tip: Convenience of location and ground level accessibility to all rooms. Parking spots are assigned to each room number.

We were searching for a motel for a one night stay prior to the morning SS Badger ferry crossing. Based on the Trip Advisor reviews and nightly rate we selected the Vikings Arms Inn. I will agree with other reviewers, the manager was polite and knowledgeable about his community. On the surface the room looked clean, however when the old-school bedspread was pulled back we found it stained with what can be assumed to be bodily fluids, the same went for the mattress cover. The other linens, while clean, had seen their best days several years prior. The room contained more outdated furniture than it was designed for with the table blocking the airflow of the barely adequate AC/heating unit. The bathroom floor, while waxed to a high shine, showed significant wear. The metal clothes rack in the bathroom was marred with surface rust. The mattress was the quality you'd expect from a 2-for-1 sale at an outlet furniture store. If I am every in the area in the future, I'll gladly pay the extra $40 a night to stay down the road at one of the chain hotels.
