The room is good, soft beds, area is quite large. the hotel interiors aren't bad. security isn't too good though as the elevators have no card checks. This is among the better hotels I've stayed in in China. Our area had an atrium were fellow travelers can meet. reasonably good breakfast.

The rooms are dark and dismal, and the air conditioning does not work well. The beds are quite hard, and it appeared that there was no mattress but only a box spring. Our room the first night was at the front of the hotel, which is right on a busy street, and all night long we could hear the traffic with constant honking and yelling. The breakfast is a Chinese one, with cold rice and eggs fried in about 2 inches of brown oil. They did have hard boiled eggs, but no juice, no milk, no cereal, no buns (they did have sliced bread), and poor quality coffee. We tried to change hotels but our guide said no other hotels were available, so we changed to a quieter room. There were large holes between tiles in the bathroom, and we expected but didn't encounter any bugs. This hotel made our skin crawl.

Room Tip: If you must stay here, ask for a room in the back of the hotel on the 4th (top) floor and ask for blankets to be laid on top of the box spring to make the bed a little more comfortable.
