We have visited this campground multiple times each year for about 20 years. It is a beautiful park with a lot of campsites (make reservations...it is often full), a beach that goes on for miles, lots of hiking trails and a nature center. We've always been pleased with the helpful staff who have enforced the rules for the safety and benefit of all guests.
Sadly, I don't know if there has been a change in management, but this year there was a marked difference in the way the rules were (or were not) enforced. Having random cars parking on your site, as well as dogs on the beach, are two things that need to be addressed. Hopefully next summer these issues will be monitored more closely so this park can be top notch again.
