Husband and I were celebrating our 28th anniversary. First time staying at a B&B. The area not as secluded as I thought which doesn’t take away from the stay. There are local stores and restaurants near by. Could hear the cars go by occasionally but didn’t bother us at all. David made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Oscoda suite. Very clean. Very spacious. The view looking directly at the lake from our bed was spectacular. Although the other rooms but one have a lake view. I’m not sure if it’s like the Oscoda. The room service, breakfast and desserts were great. It was cool waking up to the smell of breakfast cooking downstairs. Please know they change their menu everyday. Snowed while we were there so we didn’t get in the private hot tub or walked to the beach. I imagine that would’ve been awesome weather permitting. Overall it was a magnificent stay with a magnificent view and service. I would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful place to stay -- even in ugly November!!! Our room was clean and beyond beautiful! Great TV and very comfy bed! Loved the fireplace and the private hot tub. Night dessert and morning breakfast was FABULOUS!!! Can't wait to go again!

We wanted to get away for the night of our 25th wedding anniversary. This was incredible! We have always loved Lake Huron, and this was (by far) the best way to enjoy it! Even though it was November, the lake never disappoints. At the gorgeous Huron House we were definitely able to take advantage of star gazing and reminiscing in the hot tub, snuggling in the comfy bed, being pampered with treats and luxury, and remembering why we decided to marry. We barely missed our kiddos! We enjoyed our lovely room so much we chose to bring dinner in rather than sitting in some (less than cozy) restaurant. It was a wonderful night and we will DEFINITELY be back! HIGHLY recommend.
