Fast, friendly service as always and the ice cream was fresh and delicious. I had a special request and they took care of it.

Love our city , near the river and two great ice cream parlors with great ace creem .
Strohs and Sanders .
The best ice cream around. John and Julie make most of it on site. Very friendly staff. Very generous portions too.
For those who don't know, during the depression, The Stroh Brewing Co., out of Detroit, had to make new products to survive. One of the products they began producing was ice cream. So, yes, Stroh's Ice Cream is from the Stroh Brewing Co. Same family.
So, ice cream is ice cream, right. I don't know, this place is special. It used to be down the road on Biddle Ave and it was iconic in Wyandotte even then. The shop was crazy small and it was frustrating for customers. So, they moved a couple of blocks down and it's MUCH better. And it's still iconic in Wyandotte. So many families have been going to Stroh's Ice Cream after hanging out at Bishop Park, going out in their boat, or doing whatever in the summer. There's just something about having a super busy day, and then stopping for ice cream. I don't know if they have secret ice cream recipes or not. Probably not. What I do know is that I enjoy getting ice cream from this shop more than any other. It's definitely a must stop if you're hanging out in Wyandotte for any reason.
They have great ice cream, so many flavors, even some they create, they have many sugar free options as well, the staff is always so nice, and they handle crowds well, love their outdoor patio too!
