Stopped at this rest stop and was surprised by the amazing views of the Duluth Bay! Make sure you visit the opposite side of the facility to see the best views! Great place to picnic, if the weather cooperates! There is a dog area .

My wife and I traveled to this place when we were traveling through Duluth and we are glad that we did. The views are outstanding and it really makes one realize how big of an area the ports of Duluth and Superior really are. Very cool

I've been to this rest stop many times. There is a wealth of information for the places to see in Minnesota, very clean rest rooms, a picnic area and great parking. Even if you don't need the information or rest rooms it's worth the stop for the great view (unless it's foggy).

If you see the sign from the highway, take the exit, and stop.
It's worth your time to strech your legs, and enjoy the panoramic view of the twin ports.
The rest area is kept clean, and the sculptures on the property are a good addition. There are 'historic' markers of infomation outside, and an information desk inside.
Make sure to ask the attendant any question about the area, they have the answers!
Pick up the pamplets of the area, and the rest of Minnesota too. You will be happily surprised to find USEFUL COUPONS INSIDE them.
