My wife and at the I last min decide to book a room. The front desk was helpful and very friendly not to mention professional. After getting settled we we down to the bar at the Bank restaurant. Our bar tender Matt G was read to make a suggestion and after we made a decision made us the best craft cocktail I have had in downtown Minneapolis. He recommended a cocktail to my wife off the menu that quickly became her favorite. I had an Old Fashion that by far is the best I have ever had (not to mention the candy bacon the garnishment that it came with...OMG). Bottom line we will be back and we are looking forward to the great service from Matt in the feature.

I stayed here 3 nights on business, no real complaints. Skyway connections on level 2 make getting around downtown easy enough and warm! Train is nearby for getting to the airport or other locations.

The hotel itself is an old bank and the vault private table for two was cute to look at. Plenty of places to eat nearby and get coffee, don’t even have to leave the skyway.

My room was nice, had plugs near desks and bed for charging laptops and phones. Some of the tv channel audio was off by a few seconds so that was a bit silly. Floor 3 has a decent sized gym and pool.

Staff was friendly and I’d probably come back.

Great location in the heart of downtown surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel is in a redesigned landmark, the Foshay Tower. Many of the finishes were held over from the Tower and create a refined juxtaposition against the modern designs of the rooms. Rooms have the typical Westin beds - wonderfully comfortable as always. Great toiletries are offered, along with a curated liquor selection on the wet bar. Of course at a premium price :) Beautiful shower and clever design make for an enjoyable and comfortable stay with the typical Westin delivery.

I do not write many reviews but my experience at this hotel prompted me to share as it was wonderful. My husband and I came into town to visit family. This was our first time staying at this property. The lobby/restaurant is beautifully restored as it was originally a bank. The staff at this property were outstanding. Ryan at the front desk provided an abundance of recommendations for things to do and restaurants; he even gave us free appetizer coupons for some of the area locations. What stood out the most was his knowledge of downtown. Often we stay at hotels where the front desk staff struggles to provide city details. He even knew the closing times of area businesses throughout our stay without looking anything up; and was correct each time! The beds were comfortable and the view of the skyline was a nice upgrade. The bar staff were quite friendly and the food was delicious. After begin away from the room we came back to find a hand written note and chocolate coins in our room from Ryan. At check-in we mentioned we had grand-kids coming to swim. He left us the coins to give to them as a treat. What a surprise that a staff member took time out of their day to leave such a kind note and token of thanks. The staff at this hotel are really a cut above the rest. I would recommend this hotel again!!!

Room Tip: Pay a little more to get a room with a view.

The Westin Minneapolis surprisingly has a lower rates, however, the service quality remains outstanding. Room was spacious, comfortable beds and definitely a Westin standards. Stayed for a week in the hotel, unfortunately parking price is very expensive compared to other parking grounds nearby.
