1. I already feel like check out, before I even check in.
2. I said I will come by 2pm, at 3.30pm, room not ready
3. After a while waited at lobby, i asked reception again if room ready, they said yes a while ago. But i was not informed!
4. I specifically said i have someone with wheelchair, but room is located on the upper floor. Instruction given is'just walk straight and room at the end. LIAR!! I had to use staircase to my room
5. Upon arriving to room, housekeeping is still cleaning my room. WTF???!!!
6. Run-down apartment
7. Minibar looks like it was collected from junkyard.
8. I dont know why people rate this as good.
9. No, even given as complimentary stay, I WILL NEVER WANT TO COME HERE AGAIN. NEVER!!!

Went there for a family day during the long weekend holiday before Deepavali. Carpark seem full so we parked outside the premise along some other cars. Not so many people checking in even though it's near 3 pm. There are few elevators scatter around the the lobby but mostly it smell of wet carpet due to people coming in from the pool. Signage to rooms could be improves as there is too few and easily confuse for first timers. There's no ramp to pull your luggage up to the lobby & no porter, so backpacks are better suited especially most of the floor have stairs.

Our room was huge like 3 bedrooms apartment. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan each. Bathroom with shower for each bedroom too. Living room is big with view of the sea but no air conditioner. Kitchen is limited to a kitchen sink, few glasses, an empty minibar & a dining table. Furniture in the living room looked dated but maintained except the wardrobe in bedroom looked damaged on the inside. Other electrical appliances like iron, hair dyer and tv worked fine. Room cleanliness could be improved as toilet and shower seem a bit dirty. Putting air freshener in all the rooms could also help.

Pool isn't clean enough as the water seem greenish blue with leaves inside. Benches and chairs around the pool are limited, broken and not well kept. Breakfast buffet is ok but the tables were very few and workers only rolled out extra tables when there's a complaint from the guest. Since it is an open air area, weather can also limits the number of tables available.

The hotel is a bit far off from the city or any shops but next to the beach, a recreational forest and a camp site.

Basically our room is facing the sea. View was spectacular! But in terms of cleanliness pnb should have improve more on this.

1. Pool
The receptionist told us that the pool will be close by 7pm. But people still swim even 9pm. Well no one is there to look after pool actually.

The pool extremely dirty at the first day that we went to swim. There is a lot of sand and leaf inside the water. Also at the same day there's people that just finish the team building program and straight away went to the pool with sweat and normal tshirt/pants. Its really disgusting since their not even clean up their body and wear a proper swim wear before entering the pool. The next day we woke up around 6am and ready to go breakfast but unfortunately there's no one go to the pool and do the cleaning service which i believe every resort should have a daily cleaning process. Well not this one.

2. Window
Our window seems to be stuck and hard to close since there is a warning to lock our window because of the monkey. Finally we only spotted on the last day why our window cant be lock. Basically the screw already come out from the hole and thats the reason why we cant even close the window.

Me & family check in 23rd Dec, check out 24th Dec 2017. Me called Chef Rafizal to check if any rooms available 2 days before check in. He feedback to me urgently regarding the rooms availability.
1. Breakfast - Nice food, thanks to Chef Rafizal
2. Room - OK, clean
3. Pool - OK
4. Services - OK
5. Cinema - Bad, Movie is not suitable for family & very old movies played

But overall, its OK for me & my family as long my kids is happy. Me have already been staying Ilham several time, for sure I will come again.

Maybe to have new kind of pool, with water slide. might attract kids

I always prioritize Ilham Resort as my holiday resort if I'm at Port Dickson but my last trip in November was very disappointed. I've booked 3 units of apartments. Rooms, bathrooms as well as the surrounding of the apartments area were dirty and not clean.
Hopefully they improve house keeping otherwise this will be my last trip.
