We had a wonderful week at Trennanick Cottages and stayed in Pond Meadow which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and wonderful open fire. Lorraine is so friendly and welcoming and is great with the kids, who particularly enjoyed feeding the goats and hens at 9.30 every morning.. Bude is a 5 minute drive away and the cottage is located in a lovely little hamlet just off the Atlantic Highway, so all the attractions are easily accessed. We are looking forward to returning at some point later on in the year and I would highly recommend Trennanick Cottages as it was safe for the children and very peaceful - just what we needed after our daily travels around Cornwall.

Friendly welcome, fun for all ages feeding goats and chickens! Cottage is off the beaten track which suited us, cosy and comfortable, roaring log fires made a fabulous end to each day :)
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Owners on site and were lovely on arrival and on hand when you needed them. Kids enjoyed feeding the animals. Great location for relaxing and for kids to run around safely. Cottage was excellently presented and every attention thought of. Cottages next door were the same and would definitely re book for another year. We had a great week. Thank you.
We had a very warm welcome from Lorraine upon our arrival for our week stay in the Pond Meadow Cottage. The Cottage was very comfortable and very clean, which is always good. The children had a great time feeding the goats and chickens every morning.
Crackington Haven is a lovely beach and only £2 to park all day, so pack up a picnic and make a day of it. We also went to Newquay beach which is also lovely, but parking there is nearly £6 for the day but you do have lots of shops etc to visit too. Whilst we were at Newquay we went into the Aquarium to miss the rain.
Dairy land Farm is also well worth a visit, my children are 10, 7 and 4 years old and they all had a great time petting animals (rabbits, gerbils and guinea pigs), feeding the calfs, watching the cows being milked, plus playing on all the play stuff. There were also tractor rides and pony rides that we didn't get round to :-( but your ticket is valid for a week so you can always go back another day :-)
Porthcurno is most definitely a beach worth visiting, although an hour and 50 minutes away, but the waters are clear blue just like you would have aboard.
All in all we had a fabulous time and we would definitely consider returning to Pond Meadow.
My family and I had a lovely weeks holiday. The cottage is just lovely. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and good location. Lorraine the owner was on hand if we needed anything ( but she thought if everything), the kids loved the per goats , apologies my little grandson tried to ride one!!
Highly recommend this to my family and friends, I want to go back again please!
