Stayed here for a “stay-cation” with my husband and had a great time. Felt like we were truly on vacation (even though we live on the coast) with the breathtaking view of the beach and horizon from our window. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Struggled to get the heater going since it just began getting real cold down here. Called the front desk and within 5 minutes someone was there to assist me. Was supposed to go out that night but stopped at the downstairs bar first for a quick drink and never left! Frank is great and has plenty of drink/food recommendations. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This hotel was amazing. We felt like you were stepping back in time to a plantation house. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly. Cora's had delicious food. We can't wait to return.

The public areas are very nice, however, the guest rooms (especially the bathroom) are very small. One of the light fixtures in the bathroom was out during our entire stay and water was pooling on the window sill in several locations. The restaurant is expensive and lacks presentation and food is fair not exceptional. For the price being charged - things should be exceptional - not average or fair. The door to the hotel laundry room on the second floor was open to the public with large containers of linen outside the room on the elevator landing most every time we came and went. One room, labeled as a guest room, was a storage room and was also left open the entire time of our stay. Again - the property lacks polish - when you charge this much (over $276 a night) - the guest expects a certain level of experience. Not there yet.

Couldn't even take a hot shower. Was never offered a discount or anything when I checked out and told them my issues. 320 per night for a suite with no hot water. At least make an attempt to correct the problem or make it right by discount.

Below Average Service, Restaurant And Bar Pricing too High, luke warm Water in shower Staff Was Very Cordial I guess The problem is an older piece of property .Beautiful place would be nice to visit in summer..
