Opened in 1924, Abe’s offers terrific BBQ! Casual and authentic. Lucille is a super server with a lovely sense of humor. Would return again anytime we are in Clarksdale, MS.

Friendly service. Fair prices. If you're looking for somewhere casual and inexpensive I would recommend it.

In the shadow of the iconic guitar at the intersection of Hwys 61 and 49 sits a restaurant that has been open almost 100 years. It has a casual atmosphere and has been added on over the years. The hot tamales are outstanding although most people think of BarBQ when they think of Abe’s. The cold slaw is to die for. If you don’t care for BarBQ try the chili-cheese-burger.
Crowded at lunch and during festivals.

There is a reason this place has been open since 1924. We don’t eat pork and ate the BBQ beef sandwiches and grilled chicken and it was some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The beef was lean was cooked to perfection and the BBQ sauce was finger lickin good.

Only okay. Nice service. Average BBQ. I had the Big Abe's and beans. Honestly, the tamales with chili was quite good. Good lunch crowd of locals. Right at The Crossroads.
