Four of us (all adults), went for lunch on Easter Sunday and were most impressed.
Three of us had roast lamb and the other person had homemade chicken pie with chips. We all agreed that the meals were very tasty and well presented and the portions were large. There was a good variety of vegetables and plenty of them too.
We weren't sure that we could accommodate a dessert, but they sounded so scrummy that we just had to make room!
We ordered the Irish liqueur creme brulee, chocolate cheesecake and chocolate sponge pudding with custard. The desserts were so well-presented and tasted even better, than they sounded!
Would highly recommend this pub. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the service is very good. The decor is lovely and there was a great ambience. The food was wonderful, well-cooked, plentiful and beautifully presented. Look forward to returning.
