We really did not have the time to go away for a whole week for our 10 year anniversary. My mom and step-dad went here for their anniversary and felt we would love it even though we are not B&B people. You do feel like you have your privacy. We stayed in the cottage. It has a large living room and kitchen on the lower floor. Upstairs is the bedroom with a small sitting room and a large bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi for two. My husband is 6"4" and we both fit with plenty of room. We always enjoy a two person jacuzzi when we are away from home. We were able to check in very early in the day for an additional $10...very worth it! We walked the romantic walking trail and stoped at the different sites and of course the kissing bench! We also enjoyed the the paddle boats and row boat. We were going to go for a swim in the pool but did not get around to it. The next morning we had our breakfast delivered to us and WOW! So much food! We are not big breakfast people but there is no way we could have eaten all of that food even if we were! The food was delicious....and I cater so I am pretty picky! The main house is lovely. We did a tour and saw all but one room since we were there so early. They have complimentary cookies, soda, tea and coffee available all the time in the main house. They also have movies and games available for your enjoyment. To sum it up....We would highly recommend it! We felt like we were away in a quiet country setting even though we were close to home. The staff was very friendly and non intrusive.

Room Tip: We loved the cottage for the ultimate privacy. My mom and step-dad stayed in the Ballroom suite on t...

My husband and I just returned from our stay here. It was beautiful and peaceful. Beverly was absolutely wonderful! She went out of her way to make sure that our stay was extra special! The grounds were very well manicured. They had everything we could want in the middle of the night from cookies and granola bars to hot chocolate, coffee and tea. The room was very large and very clean! Our room had a private hot tun so we could relax at our own leisure. The breakfast was phenomenal! We will definetly be going back for years to come!

Room Tip: Garden Room has private hot tub and exterior entrance

We just returned from our weekend getaway at a local spa hotel followed by one night at the Inn on Crescent Lake for our anniversary. We both agreed within hours of arriving that we wished we had stayed at the Inn the entire weekend instead of one night-it was that good.

Many things I read before in the reviews were accurate. There are plenty of board games and DVD's to choose borrow; coffee (even had French vanilla creamer cups), tea (lots of flavor choices), canned soda, chocolate chip cookies, and granola bars for free; a small selection of beer and wine for a charge (we tried their family wine from France and it was delish-$15); and a tasty breakfast (our visit was coffee, orange juice, a frittata-style casserole, orange wedges, hash browns, 2 sausage patties, and good biscuits-there was even blackberry jelly packets not just plain ol' grape!).

We stayed in the Cottage, a detached two-story single unit just a small distance from the main house. It was VERY private and HUGE.

Details I loved about the Cottage and overall property:
~Things I noted above paragraph
~Comfortable king bed
~Spacious upstairs bath that has a jetted tub and a separate shower and both of us could fit in ~Downstairs has a 1/2 bath
~Wine bottle opener
~Silverware to nibble on your leftovers (and fridge/microwave to use) from dinner
~Different glasses to enjoy a relaxing drink
~Coffee maker & all the fixins needed
~A few board games & CD's in the room (more to borrow in the main house)
~Robes
~The scenery-loved being able to go for a walk on the property-make sure you ask how to get to "kissing point"
~The fire pit by the public hot tub.

Things that could be improved:
~The public hot tub by the pool has some jets not working; most likely from rough-fingered guests who don't know (or don't care?) how to adjust them. Please note this did not keep us from enjoying the hot tub as it was still very relaxing to sit in the warm water.
~Move the fire pit to another location. For the very chilly evening, we wanted to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit but felt guilty for getting out of the hot tub then sitting around the fire pit which is right next to it. If there had been someone in the hot tub already, we would not have used the fire pit because we would have wanted them to be able to enjoy it without us hanging out nearby.
~Add a step stool(or something?) by the jetted tub to help get in/out. I thought I was going to slip because its tiled and a big/wide step to get and out.

My husband and I had the most amazing time here. We were looking for a place to simply relax and get away and this was it! My new vacation spot! We will be back!
The house is spacious and wonderful. After an amazing breakfast we went for a ride in the boats and toured the beautiful grounds. We then played domino's (provided- along with a lot of other games) on the tables downstairs in the afternoon. We went into town for dinner later that evening.
Another amazing breakfast in the morning.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. They also supply you with cookies and granola bars in the day time.

My Husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in The Cottage at the Crescent Lake Inn, and it was a very nice and relaxing stay. The accommodations were phenomenal, very comfortable, clean and complete with everything we could need and more! The grounds were beautifully maintained and the ambiance of the entire property was very serene. Our Hostess, Beverly was so beautiful and meticulous, and it was very clear that she valued her guests' experiences and went out of her way to make our stay rememberable.

Room Tip: The Cottage was definitely the best choice because of the spaciousness and the solitude. All of the...
