The hotel is gorgeous. Truthfully a luxury 5-star hotel. The rooms (and bathrooms!) are gorgeous and super comfortable. The pool, spa, gardens, dock,, everything was great.

The attention was awesome. People are always asking if you need anything. And they are super helpful. The wifi in our room was not working very well, so they brought us our own modem :) problem solved

The location is good. Typically there is not much to do in the city itself other than the traditional tours (Islas Ballestas, Reserva Natural Paracas, Nazca lines and the desert), who will pick you up from any hotel. But anyway, the hotel its perfect cause its has its own dock, beach, a lot of water activities, etc.

The prices of the tours are reasonable for some (like the Islas Ballestas) and crazy high for others. Good thing is that they also recommend another tour agency if you ask for it.

The only thing I did not love was the restaurant. It was too overpriced for the quality of the food. It was just "ok". And also, the attention on the restaurant was bad. There was not enough personal I think, so it takes a while to ask for anything.

In particular I was very disappointed in the prices of WATER. I called to ask for a bottle of water and they told me they did not sell any brand of water other than Evian. This is absolutely ridiculous because a bottle of water in Peru is 1 sol, and they only sell bottles of Evian water at 20 soles. Just charge a little more for the room and don't be ridiculous selling that water. Makes absolutely no sense. Makes less sense because at lunch they would serve normal 1-sol water.

So anyways: yes I would definitely recommend this hotel, just take your own water because why pay that much and don't be expecting too much for the food.

The setting of this hotel is just wonderful. It's right on the ocean front and our suite (Room 111) had a gorgeous, uninterrupted view over the gardens and ocean - magical vignette.

The grounds are spacious and well kept and there's lots of room to just mill around or lounge by one of the pools. The restaurant is a lovey size and there was plenty of room at all times.

We stayed for 4 days - Saturday to Tuesday. The weekend was a lot busier than the weekdays - but the hotel didn't feel at all crowded at any time. The pinch point is the Bar ... which covers a very big space ... but there's not a huge number of inside seats ... and it gets too cold at night to sit outside.

Considering this is a luxury 5 star hotel (deservedly merits that description) we found it to be very good value. The restaurant delivers great quality, well cooked, tasty food at reasonable prices - the bar is also well priced, even for premium drinks.

So, it's spotlessly clean, spacious, good service, lovely food, stunning position, peaceful ... we would definitely go back again and would recommend this place to all our friends and family.

It's well located to visit the Ballestas Islands and to see the Nazca Lines ... and you really should do both. Visit the Ventura guys in the lobby and they'll book everything for you - reasonable prices again.

We loved our time here!

Room Tip: Push the boat out and book ocean view rather than garden view - it will be totally wort it.

Paracas is a bit out of the way, but worth the four hour bus ride south from Lima. And if you are going to go to Paracas, then this is the place to stay.

With two pools, excellent bar service (especially Franco, special shout to to him!) with the gambit of cocktails, and absolutely fantastic food - get the ceviche, the place has loads of activities for kids and adults alike - try the big blow up balls and take a bike ride.

So relaxing for parents and kids of all ages with beautiful views.

Room Tip: away from the main entrance is quieter

This was a beautiful resort, luxurious, lush, and refined. The food was excellent. The drinks were vivacious. The prices were unbelievably reasonable.

The location was fantastic. We didn't miss a thing in sunny Paracas.

However, if I could ensure that you had one takeaway from this review, it would be the top tier service. As an example, I ordered a Pisco sour sampler that came with 3 (rather large) Pisco sours. It took me some time to drink them while sitting by the pool. So a waiter came over to our little cabana and rewhipped/stirred my remaining Pisco sour, informing us that for the drink to be properly enjoyed, the texture must be just so.

Definitely stay here if you visit Paracas.

We stayed overnight to catch a flight in the morning to view the lines. The resort is beautiful and an oasis. We had a nice dinner and walked the property in the morning. I would have like to have stayed an additional night. I highly recommend this resort.
