I chose this location for a more "manly" Valentine couples date. Brunch was delightful, with mimosas, brunch punch and the smoky Grand Poobah of bloody Marys served tableside from a booze cart. Pork rinds, meat sticks, pickled Brussels sprouts, slab of bacon ... Yeah, it's THAT kind of bloody.)
Our table shared four delightful meals: Corned Beef Benedict, BNB (biscuits and gravy with boar meat), Burnt End Mac & Cheese and Blackened Shrimp & Grits (the gluten-free option.) While all was quite tasty, the large, tender, spicy shrimp on my plate donned the perfect amount of char. The creamiest of grits contained the ideal amount of bite complemented by the punch of jalapeno gravy.
We all left very satisfied. The size of our meals not overwhelming, and a value for the quality. The menu was succinct. Our wait staff was pleasant and eager to please. The atmosphere was buzzing without too much noise, and folks were dressed weekend casual to holiday formal ... everyone looked warm and welcome. A fine place for everyone, from couples to large groups, and families with children. Highly recommend!
