Excellent food, wonderful service and charming atmosphere We attended this fine establishment after Easter service and was delighted There were four of us ordering and we enjoyed the frittata, Cafe Benny salmon cakes and an omelet The scones were little round light textured biscuits with a blueberry sauce We we’re visiting from out of town and would like to eat here again in the evening

Even if you are not visiting the Museum, this place is a wonderful lunch destination. You can sit inside, surrounded by copies of world famous paintings in vibrant colors or sit in the wonderful terrace. In both places the food tastes delicious. The menu is simple and the products are fresh, well prepared and very tasty. Its a marvelous place to take a break from visiting art in Kansas City as well as to gather with friends for a fun lunch.

Delicious food artfully presented. Fairly small menu, but a good variety of choices. We had to wait a little longer for our food than I expected, especially since we were there early and it wasn’t busy. We were in no hurry, however, so didn’t mind the wait.

Have now eaten here several times, best to do so for a good review, and never fails. Even though at times the menu is limited still good choices. And desserts are always good. Has a full bar, and a limited but good wine list. Service is very good and friendly.

Ate lunch with group with pre-arranged menu choices. Did receive drinks in fairly timely manner although a little slow. No straws for drinks even after we asked. Ended up getting them ourselves from a service table we saw. Pre-ordered entrees of soup, salad and half a sandwich took more than 40 minutes to start serving, then served all of one kind of sandwich before serving the other choice. Friend and I intended to cut sandwich in half and share to try both. Bottom crust of Reuben was so hard, couldn't cut it with a knife - finally sawed and tore to get apart. Tartine was likewise difficult to cut. Tomato basil soup was excellent. Taste of sandwiches was good, just difficult to eat due to hardness of breads. Slow service put our tour behind schedule.
