Scout Night at the Cardinals baseball game meant we had a reason to be near Yen Ching, so we went there for dinner.
Another great dinner with:
- sizzling rice soup
- Mongolian beef
- sweet and sour chicken
We left with the plates clean and our bellies full... happy family!
Tied for best Chinese in St. Louis!
This week provided three great dining out experiences, all unplanned more than a week earlier.
Our son's high school had an evening event and we needed to make a stop on the way, so in between we made sure to visit Yen Ching, as we don't get to that part of town often enough (no, Clayton's not that far away, but life is so hectic we don't get enough time to just take an extra hour or so for a workday lunch date, so, visits are too infrequent...).
This one was simple, as we couldn't fill up too much...
- just sizzling rice soup - a unique and amazing soup we love every time we visit Yen Ching
- And fried rice
Like the movie Ratatouille, sometimes the simplest things make the biggest impact.
A great pre-dinner this night. We hope to return soon.
