My wife and I stopped here prior to our day in Yellowstone and Teton National Parks and what a great stop it was. The owners, John and Tillie Lamey are the nicest people you'll ever meet and filled with all kinds of knowledge of the local area. Tillie is an amazing photographer and her photographic work is everywhere throughout the inn. Really, she's got some amazing photos of wildlife and natural wonders. They provided us with free postcards and a nice detailed map of the parks.

The room was large and spacious and the Inn itself is a throwback to earlier days. Wifi was included and you just feel like you're at home here. Check it out and don't forget to ask them about their bear friend. :-)

Owners live on site and truly care about your stay here and it shows from the minute you call to make a reservation. Rooms are spotless and recently remodeled in western decor. Maintenance is taken seriously, could not find a thing that needed repair or replaced. Rooms are QUIET, even though this motel faces a major road. There is a hallway that separates the room from the parking lot, which is lined with wildlife pictures taken in the area. Plenty of parking and room for at least 4 large trucks. Hospitality second to NONE these folks really go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. On a 1-5 scale we'd have to give them a 6. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: Rooms with a king offer a recliner

Tillie and John made us feel welcome during our two day stay here. They gave us tips on Yellowstone and places to eat in Livingston (The Beanery). Our room had a King size bed and was rustic and homey. Hubby especially enjoyed the thoughtful touch of recliner in the room at the end of day. Price was reasonable and Livingston was so much more charming than Gardiner...

Stayed here when we were in Livingston on our way to Yellowstone. Pet friendly and we were traveling with our dogs. Read the other reviews and they were spot on......friendly family owned motel, rooms immaculate and staff friendly! Motels in Gardiner were over $130 more and this was a short drive to Yellowstone in the morning

We stayed one night here on our way to Yellowstone. Really nice place with unique western decor. Well maintained and clean and affordable. No breakfast but there is a McDonald's nearby. Strange thing happened - the power and water went off all over town that night at 8:30. We were able to open our window to get some light and cool air. Everything came back on in about an hour and a half. Thank goodness!
