Clean, comfortable Mom & Pop motel with all the amenities and then some in your room.
Quaint little details add to the charm. Check out the pictures in the hallway. Only problem is room was quite stuffy so had to sleep with window open which brought the traffic noise and the train! Very friendly owners and laundromat right next door. Price was reasonable and we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't sleep with your window open or you will have traffic and train noise.

Livingston Inn Motel is a quaint little place and John and Tilley were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Rooms were clean and reasonably priced, decor is unlike anywhere else. Hotel is centrally located with many options for food and activities. There is no pool or breakfast and I still would choose this hotel over any other hotel in the area. Overall traditional/classic hospitality, they have free animal themed postcards, and our 3 year old loved it! American owned and operated!!!!

I stayed two nights in a single bed room and really enjoyed my stay. John and Tillie are a lovely, older couple (but not THAT much older than me!) who want you to be comfortable and happy. The room was spacious enough and spotlessly clean. the bed was very comfortable. I found the room and hotel to be sufficiently quiet. I could occasionally hear some movements next door; but never even near a level that interfered with my activities or sleep, or even annoyed me.

Management has thought of countless small, but appreciated, details: bathroom night light, light switches inside and outside bathroom, plush towels, bowed and spacious shower curtain rod, damped-closing toilet seat, 110/120v and UBS outlets on lamps, quiet and individually-operated heat pumps, larger-than-normal refrigerator, 40" or larger flat-screen TV, local newspaper, etc. The only, admittedly small suggestion I would make is the addition of a recliner or an easy chair with an ottoman. After an active day outside, I think everyone prefers sitting in a comfortable chair with their feet elevated (and closer to the TV) to sitting farther from the TV--which now requires more volume--on the bed covers and pillows.

All in all, however, it's a very comfortable, conveniently located and sparkling clean lodging option. It also represents a good value near Yellowstone Park. I'll be a repeat customer.

Don't let the outside looks of this hotel fool you. The rooms are clean and modern. There are all of the usual amenities: fridge, micro, hair dryer coffeemaker, flat screen TV. Bonus: there are more outlets than you'll know what to do with. There's also a laundromat next door. This is a gem of a hotel. They even have a pen for your horses! The owner/manager is a very interesting guy. His wife takes all the wildlife photos you see around. Ask him about Adam the bear.

A clean and nice little motel run by a couple. Biggest complaint is that the rooms are small. Also the walls are thin. Overall a good choice on the way to Yellowstone. Owners are nice people and try hard to please
