We stayed here only because we had driven through the night as there weren't any other hotels to be found from Billings, MT to Spokane, WA on a Saturday night. We really needed a place to get at least a few hours of rest before getting back on the road. The actual place doesn't match the online photos provided by the property. It was very run-down and filthy. In addition, the person working the night shift left the lobby unattended and fell asleep in her car, so we weren't even able to check in when we arrived!
I'm uploading some of the photos I took showing the condition of this motel. I didn't take a photo of the entry to the rooms, but it is outside and not attached to the lobby and is a sliding glass door that should open upon swiping the room key. It didn't open for us, nor for another person trying to enter, and then we discovered the door was just broken and you just needed to push hard to slide the door open without any security measures. In other words - NO SECURITY to enter the hallways. Getting in the elevators and getting out on the 3rd floor, the floors are filthy - mud and footprints clearly visible. We thought perhaps by the time we checked out, they would have been mopped, but no - the maid service was done on the floor and...We stayed here only because we had driven through the night as there weren't any other hotels to be found from Billings, MT to Spokane, WA on a Saturday night. We thought perhaps by the time we checked out, they would have been mopped, but no - the maid service was done on the floor and we watched them get back in the elevator and they never touched the hallway or elevator floors. The photos you see of the 3rd floor flooring was taken a few minutes after the maids left!!
Trim boards and wall paper was off in the hallways and the walls were filthy and in some places had holes/damage. In the room we stayed in, our sheets had hair strands in them, wallpaper peeling off, stains all over the carpets, cracker pieces on the floor, stained walls, fingerprints on the walls and bathroom door, and chunks missing from the walls.
About the staff: We found this room at about 4 a.m. from about an hour and a half drive away. We were told this room would be available and said we would be there about 5:30 a.m. When we arrived, the lobby was open but abandoned. I called the number and the lobby phone rang and rang. I called toward the back, but nobody responded. I went back out to the car and my husband pointed out a car with an open driver side door and a leg hanging out. It was near the back of the parking lot by the alley that ran behind the building. We drove around the back, my husband honked the horn and the person didn't move. We were concerned and thought perhaps someone (maybe the staff member) had...More
