We have been everywhere —Colorado, Utah —we have really enjoyed our hotel resort and ski experience —spent all 3 days at Mt Rose and it was great for all levels of skiers .....our hotel has had impeccable service —restaurant spa room service —cutthroat saloon has awesome food and the cafe has been a great breakfast experience —will be back

Had casual dinner in the bar area. Which admittedly is an impressive room. Should have gotten the message early with the sullen waitress attitude. Things got worse with awful pizza, crab fondue and a way overpriced wine list. Place virtually empty too, always a bad sign.

Hi Jack! Thanks for leaving a review, and please accept our sincere apologies for what was clearly a subpar experience in one of our restaurants. On future visits, please feel free to send anything back or request a replacement for anything you don't like - it's always our pleasure to make guests happy. In the meantime, if you'd like to connect with a manager, we'd love to hear more about what went wrong and learn how we can improve our service in the future. Just email us at HyattLakeTahoe@hyatt.com. Again, we truly apologize for your experience and hope we can better serve you in the future!

Rooms seem fresh and recently renovated. I had a nice view. Easy access to multiple restaurant options and the casino helped make this a great stay. I was here for skiing and had a short trip to the slopes. Pricing was reasonable; I will return.

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view

Great for families; fun for everyone.

Our toddler loved the pool and hot tub; that gave us a s’mores kit and the family had fun at the fire with it. I would recommend the club access if you have kids. The breakfast and snacks selection were great.

We had some trouble with the ac/heater unit that made it uncomfortable to sleep. It was too hot with it on and too cold with the windows open. No temperature control.

The noise was not too bad from the casino at all.

Thank you so much for staying with us for a family getaway! We're happy to hear both the s'mores kit and the Regency Club were a hit for the whole crew. Thanks for bringing to our attention the notes about your AC unit, and please know that on future stays you're welcome to call the front desk any time with any issues and we'll send a maintenance person right up to take a look or fix the settings - it's never a problem!

Thanks for your visit, and we'll look forward to seeing you again!

The additional charges are out of control. The resort fee is $36. Resort fees are common, although this is the highest I've ever seen. They're now charging $18 for self-park parking, which makes sense in a city, but not out in the middle of nowhere. Add in the resort tax, and you've got an additional $58.68 added to every stay. At some point, these extra fees cross the line into being deceptive and sleazy.

Hi David! Thanks for staying with us, and for sharing your notes on the additional fees. While we always make sure to disclose the resort fee on the booking site, confirmation emails and in-room documents, we never want guests to feel surprised by extra costs. So feel free to ask for a manager at check out if you have any questions about any fees - it's never a problem to discuss or explain them to give our guests peace of mind about the final charges. For now, we'll share your feedback about the extra costs with our management team, and really appreciate the direct feedback. Thanks for staying with us, and we hope you had a great trip!
