I enjoyed my stayed at the Luxor. Staff the hotel and overall ambience were amazing. Close to the Vegas Strip transportation and overall site seeing and tour guides were accessible. Beautiful place to visit and family oriented.

Our teenage daughter took suddenly ill while waiting to be seated at he lunch buffet. The hostess was notified and quickly ushered our family of 4 to a table to sit. Helped us to the restroom to recover. Security located a wheelchair and escorted us back to our room stopping for bottled water at a bar along the path. Very concerned and kind.

The room was outdated with cracking tile and peeling wallpaper and bathroom sink that was so clogged with hair I presume that it made a gurgling draining sound for several minutes each time it was used. It also had a super heavy smell of smoke. The bed was comfortable and it seemed relatively clean thankfully.

EVERYTIME I go to Luxor the check in wait line is exhausting. 100 people in line, 4 staff members checking them in. If the line gets over 20 people they need to pull the floor concierge staff to help reduce the numbers.

I have been to Las Vegas so many times and stayed in so many different hotels from 3 to 5 stars. I have to say, this is by far the worst hotel I've been to, even worst than those smaller hotels. Checked in at around 3:45, got into the room, everything looked old and tired, furnitures, bathroom, carpet, everything just needs updating. Want to get past all that and relax for couple of hours after a long drive from L.A. before heading down for some fun. Try turning on the t.v., guess what, it's not working. Called the housekeeping about the problem, well took me about 3 more phone calls and 2 1/2 hours later before someone came to fix it.

Paid close to $170, not cheap and not coming back.
