We ate at this restaurant as part of the romance package purchased at Viator. The package was purchased because it included a gondola ride and admission to Madame Tussauds. Honestly the lunch was at the bottom of our list of things to do. We were very pleasantly surprised when we headed upstairs and the maitre de escorted us to canal side seating. Although we looked at the menus, our package included the Pavarotti special. This included soup or salad, a main course and coffee. I chose the lentil soup and lasagna. Both were excellent! The staff was very attentive throughout our meal. We would dine at this restaurant again in a heartbeat! One final note-all food prices in Vegas are very high. The menu items we looked at were in line with what we had been paying at our hotel. If you're looking for something of similar quality but a little less cost check out their sister restaurant Tintoretto bakery located downstairs. The bakery has sit down options available.

The menu is ambitious with prices to match though not out of line for Vegas. Two of us had the veal chop and one whatever they call the surf and turf. The veal chop was huge, which I guess is what they think you want - quantity over quality. It was nicely grilled but obviously not prime or from a very old calf! When the surf and turf arrived I thought my friend, who is a devout meat eater, was going to cry. The beef portion was approximately the size of a Susan B Anthony dollar. O well, we had a good time.

Dined alone, was in Las Vegas for a conference. Wonderful service. I had wine (great selection), caesar salad, lasagna, and tiramisu. All excellent. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is rather hard to find and had to ask for directions several times but was worth the search. There is a bar area downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs which overlooks part of the canal. Our servers were very professional and filled our water and ice tea glasses several times. The unsweetened ice tea had a little different flavor but with freshly squeezed lemons it was ok. The complimentary warm bread was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the lasagna which was prepared like the lasagna we had in Italy. My sea bass with lobster meat on top in a pink sauce was delectable. The Italian decor was elegant. I would recommend this restaurant.

If you score one of the outside tables on the second floor you'll have a view of the Venetian indoor canal. The service, drinks, bread basket and salads are OK. The main courses are among the worst we've every experienced. Zero flavor! I had veal parm and my wife baked lasagna. Buy a jar or can of red sauce....ANY red sauce.....from your local grocery store and you'll have 100% more flavor than what was presented by this "restaurant." The parm was a piece of veal right out of the package, a bit of tasteless red sauce and a slab of cheese baked or broiled. Tough and zero flavor. The lasagna had no flavor. Something out of the frozen food section of the local grocer would have been superior. The execuse was the chef was gone for the evening and who knows what the kitchen as preparing. There is NO excuse for this! You have lots of Italian eating options at the Venetian. Avoid this joint!!!
