Been here several times and their Osso Bucco is a hands-down winner!! Always falling-off-the-bone tender, so meaty and flavorful sauce that is very complimentary to the meat.
Calamari appetizer was good but way, way too large a portion.
We did have osso bucco at another restaurant and it did not compare in any way to Piero's.
It's off the beaten path, just off the strip, so not as commercial. It's a destination unto itself and well worth the time and effort to go. Bravo!

If you like classic Italian/American cuisine - like your grandmother used to make - you're going to love Piero's Italian!

Fans of the movie "Casino," we went primarily on a lark to check out the site of character Nicky Santoro's restaurant. If you're a fan of the movie, you'll recognize the place immediately.

We were impressed by the service, the old school ambience, and most of all, the food. The veal dishes were outstanding - tender and cooked to perfection. Other highlights included the stuffed artichoke - succulent and flavorful, and the pasta Bolognese - rich and delicious. There were a couple of minor disappointments - a bland pasta e fagioli, and a some tough shrimp in the classic shrimp cocktail. But overall, we experienced excellence throughout the meal.

Highly Recommended - especially for fans of "Casino."

Piero' is right out of a Sinatra movie. The cuisine is magnificent. Try the Filet Mignon or Salmon. Bruce the bartender mixes a mean martini. It's all to die for. Bonus: A small area in the lounge features a small combo with singer on Friday and Saturday nights (But call the restaurant to see if they have music other nights too.) A cute little dance floor has tourists and locals alike kicking up heels. Pia Zadora of TV fame was the headliner during our recent visit. Great time had by all. Even though it's across the street from the Convention Centre, the conventioneers you find in the restaurant aren't thankfully all hats and horns. It's a welcome oasis from the Mega-Hotel- celebrity-chef-venues on the strip. Don't miss Piero's.

This has the old time atmosphere that you won't find in a resort hotel restaurant. The food and wine are good. People in our party had the shrimp cocktail (HOT sauce), crab cakes (delicious), house salad, osso bucco, ribeye, and penne vodka. All of it was delicious and filling. A little slow to get the check in the end but a good meal overall. No room for dessert because the portions are huge!

Wow, it felt like Frank and the Rat Pack were already in the place. Classic Vegas off Strip Italian food with the decor to match the Rat Pack days. There is something comforting about going to a local establishment that has survived the ups and downs of the city. The decor was dark with U shaped booths and everyone talking very loud. Enjoyed a veal and spaghetti dish that were both specials. Both dishes were prepared to perfection with pasta melting in the mouth and the veal was perfectly tender. Great meal without the scene of the Strip or prices.
