Let me preface this review with this statement - I don't do reviews; negative or positive, but I was compelled to speak this time. Checking in at the airport was big time. The check-in service desk is by carousels 1 and 2. I had my room assignment before my bags arrived at the carousel. I asked the attendant if they were allowed to accept tips and she politely said yes. I requested a one-bedroom suite in Tower 1, floor 20 or higher, with a strip view. I gave the attendant a $10 bill and received Tower 1, floor 30 (penthouse suite), with a panoramic view that was all time. The view on the balcony had a different view than the bedroom view. FYI: The junior suites are nice, but if you can afford to, please upgrade to the one-bedroom suite. I promise you won't regret it. This is no exaggeration: everyone from the front desk, the valet, the concierge, and the maids were very nice and hospitable. In the one-bedroom suite, even the second bathroom has a walk-in shower. This place is simply awesome. I been wrestling with this, but this may have the suites at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay beat by a small margin based on the view, the square footage, and the room amenities (i.e. full refrigerator and microwave). The only gripe (and I'm reaching at straws) was that they close the Valet at 10:00pm in Tower...Let me preface this review with this statement - I don't do reviews; negative or positive, but I was compelled to speak this time. The only gripe (and I'm reaching at straws) was that they close the Valet at 10:00pm in Tower 1 and you have to walk to Tower2 to pick up your car. In addition, the complaints about the walk from the Signature to MGM are legit, but it is what it is. Simply put, I have a new 'go to' spot in Vegas.More
