I absolutely loved this hotel. I wanted to stay downtown Vegas on Fremont and this hotel was perfect. Fremont Street out front, walking distance to some great downtown things: the Mob Museum, neon museum, and Natural History Museum.and free concert stage beside it. The hotel seems to have undergone a great reno and everything was fresh and sleek. My room was great - comfy King bed, spacious, clean, and bathroom was also modern and fresh and clean. Yes, like most older hotels in Vegas, the walls are a bit thin and I could hear rowdy people around me - but it did not decrease my enjoyment of the hotel in the least. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Oh, and the sigma pony machines on the second floor are a lot of fun to hang out at and bet on and watch the other bettors cheer on their "pony".
One tip, ask how the elevators work before using them!
